Well, it's good news and not so good news. The good news is that she had an undetectable level of turkey and blueberry. So, she has grown out of 2 of her allergies. We can start giving them to her and just watching her skin to make sure that she doesn't have a reaction. If no reaction, then she is good to go on those. I am grateful, but I just wish that she out grew different ones.....but one at a time, right.
The not so good news is nothing that we didn't already know.....it just confirms that Kayla's milk allergy is extremely bad, pretty much off the charts. Her egg allergy is also extremely bad. This bites because we were hoping that the egg allergy would be at a level that the Dr. would be comfortable giving her the MMR shot. But it is not, so she will have to wait and we will just pray that she doesn't come into contact with anyone who has measles, mumps or rubella until she can get the shot.
The other things, strawberries, and apple, were at low (but still detectible) levels while oats, beef, and nuts were at moderate or high levels. Meaning, she is still allergic to them.
The Dr. said that there was no point in testing her again for another year because the milk and egg levels were so high that she didn't think that anything would change in 6 months. So, we are planning on going back in a year.

the poor little girl...what a horrible thing to have to deal with. that is just not fair!! she is such a cutie and we will pray for her!
