Christmas

Christmas was so much fun this year. We did the traditional Christmas Eve parties at the Seeholzer's and Nyman's. At the Seeholzer's, we played the box game (of course), and a new one....Who can build the best Reindeer Rack. That was fun. Grandpa Seeholzer won. He was a really good sport for this one. We played some other fun games over at the Nyman's. Tori got stuffed with balloons. That one was fun.

Kayla was so cute. Christmas morning was fun despite the fact that Kayla didn't feel well...she had a cold...but she did ok after a long nap. Throughout the day, we spent time with both families and got spoiled by everyone. Boy we are certainly blessed. It is so great to have family around to spend the holidays with. We love you all. Hope you enjoy the pics.

Christmas is coming.......

Christmas is a special time of year to remember those who are close to our hearts!
May your days be bright, and your heart be light!
May you find your life filled with joy, laughter, health and prosperity.
May this glorious day of our Savior's birth bring hope and peace on earth!
Merry Christmas!
Love,
The Nyman's

On Thanksgiving I am grateful for all of you. My family and friends. You all have a very special place in our hearts. Each one of you is special to us and life wouldn't be the same without you. So thank you for all you do for our family, the love that we share, and the memories that we make.

Nov 26 - Thankful

I am thankful for pictures. They capture the moments in time. Kayla is growing so fast, that I blink and she has changed. It is wonderful to be able to look back and remember all of the moments that have come and gone.

Nov 24 - Thankful.....

Today I am thankful for small miracles. It is a miracle that any child is actually born, let alone can survive 90 + years in our world. I am thankful that Kayla is growing and progressing. It is hard with her limited food choices to make sure that she is getting everything that she needs nutrition wise. I sure don't know what I would do if I couldn't buy the stuff that she can eat....Thank goodness for soy, rice and bananas. The Dr's have assured me that as long as she is still gaining weight ect that she will be just fine. She will probably always be small, but she'll probably be grateful for that when she is older.....not many women would complain about being skinny.... It will take a few years, but hopefully she will out grow some of her allergies. It will definately be a miracle the day that she can have ice cream....boy I can't wait for that day.

Nov 22...Thankful

Today I am thankful for the invention of the DVR. It is awesome. No tapes, ability to pause live TV, record and watch later......zooming through the commercials. What more could a girl want..........

Today I am thankful for my friends. I have some really good friends. Thanks for always being there for me. Last night was Bunco. I have great Bunco buddies. It is nice to know that at least 1 night a month there is a plan to go out with my girl friends to eat, play, and have a good time.

Today, I am thankful for my sister. She is always there to talk, go shopping with, just hang out with. She is always inviting us for dinner. I'm sure that if she wasn't around my family would go hungry. Thanks Sis, you're awesome.

Nov 16...Thankful Again

Today, the thing that I am most thankful for is Kayla's smile, laugh, hugs, and kisses. It is totally the best when she sees you, cracks a big grin and comes running with her arms open to give you a big squeeze.

Nov 13 - Thankful

As I wake up this morning, I hear the wind howling and I am thankful that I have a home to protect my family from the storms of life. A nice warm home. Sometimes with the hustle and bustle of everyday life, it is easy to take for granted all the things that we have, like shelter, food, water, heat, electricity...ect. So, today I am thankful for all of those things....and hope to never have to find out what it would be like to live without them.

Nov 12 - Thankful.....

Today, I am thankful that most nights Kayla sleeps relatively well. Last night, she would not go to bed until after 2 and them she was up at 6:30. Yes, mommy and daddy could be a little cranky today.

November 10th - I am thankful for.....

I heard a cool idea for November, it was to list something that you are thankful for everyday until Thanksgiving.

So, today as I picked up Kayla from Rosie's I am especially grateful that I get to take my baby to Grandma's instead of some random daycare. I don't have to wonder or worry if she is being well taken care of or neglected. I know that she is in the best hands possible and that she is being loved every minute that she is there. So, on your birthday Rosie.....I am giving a special thanks to you for all you do for our family. Thanks for sharing your self with our little one everyday. We love you.

This Week

Here are a few shots that we took this week as well as some fun ones from before I had the blog. Enjoy!

Halloween

Isn't she so sweet. This is our 2nd attempt at Trick or Treating. This year Kayla really got into it. She is still not quite sure what is going on, but wearing the cute flower outfit was fun. She wasn't able to eat any of the candy that she got, but Daddy was definately not complaining.
