Disneyland

We went to Disneyland for our family vacation this year. Grandma and Grandpa Seeholzer, Eric and family, Konie and family, and us. It was awesome.

It was Kayla's first time to go on an airplane and to disneyland. We had to get up really early to be at the airport. I thought Kayla would sleep on the way down, but she was up. She was very excited. I thought she might be scared when the plane took off, but not her, we got a ways up in the air and she yells out "LOOK OUT BELOW". It had all of us laughing. It was really funny.

She was excited to see Disneyland. I'm not sure if she realized everything we would be doing and seeing until she was actually there. She said, mom look at the castle. Is that where Cinderella lives?

One of my favorite times was when Kayla met Mickey Mouse for the first time, he bent down and she kissed his nose. It was super cute.

Kayla had an autograph book that she had the characters sign. She was really excited to get all the princesses autographs and pictures. We got to see Ariel, Belle, Snow White, Aurora (Sleeping Beauty), Jasmine, Tiana, Rapunzel, and Mulan. I think her favorite was when she saw Jasmine and Aladdin together. They signed her book Jasmine loves Aladdin. It was super cute. Kayla said that her favorite princess to meet was Cinderella. She was so beautiful and nice.

She danced with Minnie Mouse at Minnie's breakfast, that was a lot of fun. She met alot of other characters there also. The chef came out and talked to me and said that they could make Kayla Micky Mouse Waffles out of rice flour and keep it allergy friendly. It was great. They were also able to make Kayla lunch at Ariel's Grotto. Disney is wonderful.

Kayla was not scared to go on any ride. She went on all of the ones that she was tall enough for, even Tower of Terror, and Space Mountain. She is fearless. One of her favorite rides was the tea cups.

The only time she got upset and cried was during the parade when a Pirate came over and stared at her. She started screaming and crying. It was sort of funny, but not. She just didn't like the pirates.

Six days seems like a long time, but it seemed to fly by. The best part for me was being with everyone and watching Kayla enjoy herself so much. We can't wait to go back to the most wonderful place on earth..........

Glad y'all had a good time! I know Kayla did. Today while I was making breakfast, she told me that she got to eat Mickey Mouse waffles. It's great that something so insignificant to most of us left such a wonderful impression on her. Fun to see all the pics!
